The following terminology applies to these Terms and Conditions, Privacy Statement and Disclaimer Notice and all Agreements: “Client”, “You” and “Your” refers to you, the person logging on this website and compliant with the Company’s terms and conditions. “The Company”, “Ourselves”, “We”, “Our” and “Us”, refers to our Company. “Party”, “Parties”, or “Us”, refers to both the Client and ourselves. All terms refer to the offer, acceptance and consideration of payment necessary to undertake the process of our assistance to the Client in the most appropriate manner for the express purpose of meeting the Client’s needs in respect of provision of the Company’s stated services, in accordance with and subject to, prevailing law of Ireland.

Tuition Farm Limited does not filter, edit, publish or review Comments prior to their presence on the website. Comments do not reflect the views and opinions of Tuition Farm Limited, its agents and/or affiliates. Comments reflect the views and opinions of the person who posts them. To the extent permitted by applicable laws, Tuition Farm Limited shall not be liable for Comments or any damages or expenses caused as a result of any use of and/or posting of and/or appearance of the Comments on this website.

Tuition Farm Limited reserves the right to monitor and remove any Comments which are inappropriate, offensive or cause breach of these Terms and Conditions.

You warrant and represent that:

  • The Comments do not contain defamatory, offensive, indecent or unlawful material;

Subscriptions & Payments

Tuition Farm courses are provided on a subscription basis.

You may choose either a Monthly Subscription or an Annual Subscription.

  • Monthly Subscriptions are billed in advance each month and operate on a cancel anytime policy. If you cancel, access will remain available until the end of your current billing period.

  • Annual Subscriptions are billed upfront and valid for 12 months.

  • All subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled prior to the renewal date.

Payments are processed securely via our payment provider (Stripe). By subscribing, you authorise recurring payments in accordance with your chosen plan.


Refunds & Cancellations

Under the EU Consumer Rights Directive, you have 14 days from the date of purchase to cancel your order and request a refund, provided you have not accessed or streamed course content.

To request a refund, email info@tuitionfarm.ie within this 14-day period. No refunds will be issued after 14 days.

If you cancel a Monthly Subscription, your subscription will remain active until the end of the current billing period, and no partial refunds will be issued.

If you cancel an Annual Subscription, your subscription will remain active until the end of the 12-month period, and no refunds will be issued for the remaining unused months after the 14-day cooling-off period.

In the event of state exams being cancelled, our courses will continue to run and no refunds will be issued unless within the 14-day cooling-off period.


Account Access

Each subscription provides access for one registered account only.

Parents purchasing subscriptions for multiple children must assign a separate account (email login) for each child.

Sharing login details between multiple users is not permitted. Tuition Farm reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts found to be in breach of this policy.


Course Content Disclaimer

Some course content provided by Tuition Farm may not directly match the current school curriculum or exam syllabus.

This content is included as a source of additional learning and enrichment.

Parents and students are responsible for ensuring they focus on the material relevant to their specific course or subject.

Tuition Farm shall not be held liable if students study material not directly covered by their current curriculum.


Additional Terms for Tutor and Teacher Listings

  1. Independent Tutors and Teachers

    • Tuition Farm provides an online platform where individual tutors and teachers (“Tutors”) can create profiles and advertise their tutoring services.

    • Tutors are independent providers and are not employees, agents, or representatives of Tuition Farm.

    • Any arrangements, agreements, or lessons between Tutors and parents/students are entered into directly between those parties, and Tuition Farm has no involvement in the delivery of lessons, qualifications of tutors, payment arrangements (except where processed via our payment platform), or outcomes of tutoring.

  2. No Liability for Tutor/Parent Dealings

    • Tuition Farm makes no guarantees as to the suitability, quality, safety, legality, or accuracy of any Tutor’s profile or services.

    • Parents and students acknowledge that they engage with Tutors at their own risk.

    • By using the service, you agree to hold Tuition Farm harmless and release us from any and all claims, demands, or liability of any kind, whether direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential, arising out of or relating to:

      • the actions or omissions of Tutors or parents/students,

      • lesson quality,

      • scheduling, attendance, cancellations, or disputes,

      • academic performance or outcomes.

  3. Safeguarding Responsibility

    • Tutors are solely responsible for ensuring compliance with all applicable child protection and safeguarding laws.

    • Parents and guardians are responsible for supervising any lessons involving minors.

    • Tuition Farm does not provide monitoring, supervision, or safeguarding checks.

  4. No Vetting Warranty

    • Tuition Farm does not verify or warrant the accuracy of Tutor qualifications, credentials, background checks, or criminal record clearances (including Garda Vetting/DBS), unless expressly stated.

    • Parents/students are responsible for carrying out their own checks before engaging a Tutor.

  5. Content and Copyright Responsibility

    • Tutors are solely responsible for the accuracy, legality, and originality of any content, images, or materials they upload to their profile or communications.

    • Tutors must ensure they have the full legal right to use any images, text, or other materials uploaded.

    • Tuition Farm accepts no liability for any copyright infringement, intellectual property violation, or misuse of third-party materials uploaded by Tutors.

    • By uploading content, Tutors agree to indemnify and defend Tuition Farm against all claims, damages, or costs (including legal fees) arising from any alleged or actual infringement.

  6. Messaging and Contact Details

    • Tuition Farm provides an internal messaging system for communication between Tutors and parents/students.

    • Tutor contact details (such as phone numbers or email addresses) are not disclosed by Tuition Farm.

    • If a Tutor chooses to share their personal contact details directly, they do so voluntarily and at their own risk.

  7. Tutor Indemnity

    • Tutors agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Tuition Farm, its directors, employees, and affiliates from any and all claims, damages, liabilities, losses, costs, and expenses (including legal fees) arising out of their use of the Website, uploaded content, or services provided to parents/students.

  8. Right to Remove Listings

    • Tuition Farm may, at its sole discretion, suspend, edit, or remove any tutor profile, listing, or user content that is misleading, unlawful, infringes third-party rights, or breaches these Terms, without notice and without liability.


Hyperlinking to our Content

The following organisations may link to our Website without prior written approval:

  • Government agencies;

  • Search engines;

  • News organisations;

  • Online directory distributors may link to our Website in the same manner as they hyperlink to the Websites of other listed businesses; and

  • System wide Accredited Businesses except soliciting non-profit organisations, charity shopping malls, and charity fundraising groups which may not hyperlink to our Website.

These organisations may link to our home page, to publications or to other Website information so long as the link:
(a) is not in any way deceptive;
(b) does not falsely imply sponsorship, endorsement or approval of the linking party and its products and/or services; and
(c) fits within the context of the linking party’s site.

We may consider and approve other link requests from the following types of organisations:

We do not ensure that the information on this website is correct, we do not warrant its completeness or accuracy; nor do we promise to ensure that the website remains available or that the material on the website is kept up to date.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we exclude all representations, warranties and conditions relating to our website and the use of this website, including but not limited to tutor listings, course materials, and user-uploaded content.
