Who can teach on Tuition Farm?

Anyone with a degree or teaching degree can teach grinds for us. To apply, please email us your CV and a sample presentation (PowerPoint, PDF etc) that you would use to teach a class with.

What can I teach on Tuition Farm?

Any subject that is part of the Junior or Leaving Cert. If we do not have your subject listed, don’t worry, it may be that you are the one we are looking for to launch it. Contact us.

Is there a guideline that I can follow?
All our tutors must be able to teach as per the curriculum of their subject. Each subject must be planned out and the weekly topic must be planned out before a grinds begins so students know what is ahead.



How many hours a month can I teach?

Every grinds subject is taught for 1 hour per week, so the minimum hours you will do is 4.

How much can I earn money?

We pay our tutors €40/hour for Grinds and €80/hour for the 1 Day Revision Grinds. If you work the minimum of 4 hours per month you will earn €160, you can of course teach more than one subject and increase your earnings.

Do you have a format for teaching grinds?

Yes, classes are presented in a lecture style format with a Q&A session at the end. Our style of teaching provides students with the opportunity to learn in an uninterrupted environment and equips them with the fundamental skills required for life in higher education.
