Suitable For: 5th & 6th Year Students
Course Description
Leaving Certificate Chemistry provides students with a comprehensive understanding of the composition, structure, and properties of matter, as well as the changes it undergoes during chemical reactions. This course is ideal for students with an interest in science, medicine, engineering, or environmental studies.
The curriculum balances theoretical concepts with practical applications, encouraging students to think logically, analyse data, and solve problems. While the final assessment is based solely on a written exam, students will engage in 28 prescribed experiments throughout the course, designed to reinforce key concepts and develop scientific skills.
